What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with, and how long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically, rather than holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights do you have over your data?

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Digital manuals and books policy

The content of the digital manuals and official books hosted on this platform are protected by copyright and registrations. The dissemination and reproduction of their content outside the platform, such as: dissemination, transmission, downloading to third parties, is prohibited and characterized as piracy, causing the responsible party(ies) to bear the legal consequences that such acts may entail.

Instructor Training Programs policy (Gaibu and Naibu Menkyo)

It is clear that by starting this program, the student is acquiring professional training to teach the Morganti Ju-Jitsu modality. The program will include theoretical and practical tests, the theoretical tests will be evaluated by the platform, and the practical tests will be evaluated by mentors and tutors who will submit the student to the presentation of the content described in the courses.

The programs (Naibu Menkyo and Gaibu Menkyo) by themselves do not grant the license, authorization or permission for there to be representation or classes of the Morganti Ju-Jitsu modality, and it is up to the competent bodies in partnership with the course, as well as the management of the modality, to compose the set of presentations and procedures for such acts.

The license to teach classes is granted outside of this platform through an annual content revalidation described by the Morganti Ju-Jitsu Management and followed by the Brazilian Morganti Ju-Jitsu Confederation and all Associations, Federations and Teams, which must, every year, submit to the course and complete all of its content in order to apply for authorization to represent the modality that year.

All Morganti Ju-Jitsu instructors must prepare their students according to the calendar described by the modality management.

If the instructor decides to withdraw from the course at any time, or for any reason, to no longer represent the modality, the instructor is prevented from using the name, brand, methodology, as well as competition rules in future entities or even in classes that he/she may teach outside of the sport.

The official and definitive withdrawal of an instructor from the modality results in the immediate cancellation of his/her materials on the platform.

As with digital manuals and official books, the materials hosted in the courses mentioned above are protected by copyright and registrations. The disclosure and reproduction of your content outside the platform, such as: disclosure, transmission, downloading to third parties, is prohibited and characterized as piracy, making the person(s) responsible bear the legal consequences that the acts may entail.

By logging in, and especially by purchasing the products, you agree that all terms apply to you, giving permission for all items mentioned in the text above, and endorsing your commitment to the good use of all materials on the platform.
